Breathe. Feel. Heal.
ABOUT ME
The Road So Far...
I’ve been teaching yoga for 8 years, practicing for 10. My practice started from a hospital bed. I was carried into the Northern General hospital in 2013 having been battling with an eating disorder for about 8 years. Along with that I’d been trying anything and everything that might help me to escape my world and how was experiencing it. Trying to escape myself in the end. I’d run out of options and reached the last stop.

I went from being terrified of living to having this need to feel and move and reach for something more. More than living. I had to learn ways to feel things like calm, energised, safe, anxious, love, fear, strength, space and freedom from the width and length of a hospital bed. From there I moved off the bed and onto the safety of a yoga mat. My recovery was a daily battle but I began each day with meditation and a yoga practice. I grew in strength both mental and physical at the same time as delving deeply into the practice and philosophy of yoga. I knew I had to find a way to learn more about this amazing ancient form of medicine and philosophy of life as soon as I was strong enough.
Since 2015 I have undergone training in Ibiza, India and the UK in Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Ashtanga and Trauma Informed Trauma Sensitive Yoga and continue to teach Internationally and in the UK.
